In mixed-signal systems like scales, where analog and digital signals need to co-exist, it takes real skill to avoid noisy readings. Yet, looking at the competition, it was clear they weren’t even trying. They used low-end parts on a 2-layer board (when a 4-layer board is essential); made grand claims about industrial quality; and attached a high price tag to seem premium.
